A Doorbell. A Beginning.
Mirko rang the doorbell.
Marion’s mum opened the door.
Mirko grew up in the north of Hamburg — just three miles from Duvenstedt. Marion grew up in the same part of the city. Two kids from Hamburg’s north side, raised in the same neighbourhoods, breathing the same football culture that has produced some of Germany’s finest players for generations.
In March 1990, Mirko drove to pick Marion up for their first date. He rang the doorbell. Marion’s mum opened the door.
That was the beginning of everything. The family. The house. The players. The programs. Soccer Abroad. Thirty-five years later, they are still building it together — and the house where that doorbell rang is still full of soccer players.
Born Three Miles from Duvenstedt
Mirko grew up just three miles from Duvenstedt — the quiet northern edge of Hamburg where the city gives way to forests and lakes. Marion’s house was in the same part of the city. They didn’t just share a city. They shared streets, fields, and the same deeply German relationship with football.
Four Kids. Two Countries. Everything They Learned.
Mirko and Marion raised four children through elite youth soccer on two continents — Germany and the United States. They navigated the confusion, the costs, the tryouts, the politics, the real development and the empty promises. They built TM17pro because they lived everything they now teach.
Mirko Dieseler

Marion Dieseler
Grew up in the boarding house. Raised four children through elite soccer across two countries. Music Therapist, Family Therapist, Master of Education. Built the Soccer Circle App and the soccer-parent.com platform. The soul of TM17pro.
Our kids have played in schoolyards, club teams, and regional leagues in both Germany and the US. We’ve seen it all. One thing became crystal clear: families need honest guidance, not guesswork, when it comes to navigating the soccer journey.
Leon Bätge. The Story Behind the Coach.
Leon Bätge and Jonas Dieseler — Mirko’s son — played together at the same professional club in Berlin, competing for the same goalkeeper position. The coach tried to make them rivals. They became best friends. That friendship is the foundation of everything Leon brings to TM17pro today.
Leon went on to sign his first professional contract at Eintracht Frankfurt under Nico Kovac, training under GK coaches Manfred Petz and Jan Zimmermann at Bundesliga level. Last summer he came to the US for MLS trials, visited the Dieselers, coached at Augusta — and something clicked.
